There is a wealth of brewing information on the internet, with enough effort you can find out anything you want to know about brewing. The problem is that its not easy to find and when you do find it it can frequently be too technical.
The purpose of Brewer's Guide is not to compete with or take the place of valuable books like How to Brew by John Palmer or the Camra Guide to Home Brewing by Graham Wheeler or any of the other good home brewing books, it's to distil and consolidate brewing information into an easily accessible, uncomplicated form which beginners can understand and also to provide links to other valuable internet resources such as Jim's Beer Kit website and forums where you will find many helpful and knowledgeable members.
